I loved this when I was a kid. Perhaps the only reason i watched oh yeah cartoons, the designs were so spiffy. like dexter and PPGs... i just love the idea of cute meeting evil.
I wish they made more.
I love Renzetti's work, and he's worked on almost all of my favorite cartoons. And his original shorts are amazing, this being no exception. I loved Mina and The Count. Heck, it possibly could have made a better series than Teenage Robot! Anyway, I love how you drew Mina; true to the original design, but spruced up with more detail and in your style, of course. And the Count is a great character to see in your style because of his general creepiness, and you do that really well. Dunno what else to say that I haven't said on MSN already, but this picture's great! Now let's see if the server can let this comment go through.
omg awesome! i was JUST thinking about that show/short a few days ago and for the love of me couldn't remember the name
anyway this looks truely great in you style
I vaguely remember this show, something about a vampire that, while trying to do his job, fell under the command of a sickeningly adorable child who just wants a friend. As a matter of fact, I think this was the inspiration for The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy...
Anyways, brilliant characterisations once again, The Count truly looking terrifying with his "I will tear your face off and then eat it" look, and Mina is an absolute bundle of cuteness with her heart'd teacup.
